A contemporary, bright fall nosegay wreath seemed to be an approriate design for my college-aged daughter. This design is colorful and cheery, yet has a fall feel and is perfect for a college-aged girl's apartment, house or even a dorm room door!

Nosegay wreath for Fall |
I wanted to design something contemporary and bright for my daughter's fall wreath. When I saw these colorful flowers at Hobby Lobby, the design popped right into my mind.
What you'll need for this nosegay wreath...a roll of burlap-18" wide, wire cutters, floral wire, a glue gun, bright fall flowers, and colored wire.

The flowers were long stem. I had to cut off 15" to make the flowers shorter.
Cut an eight-inch length of burlap. Pull the horizonal strings out at the bottom for a couple of inches, or however long you want your fringe to be. Fold the burlap in half.

Start wrapping the nosegay and finish with the end on the back of the nosegay. Use floral wire to hold the burlap around the nosegay.
I loved the colored wire I used for the bow. I found it in brown, orange and green. I have so many more things I want to make with this wire. I love the deep fall colors!
