Kisses & Hugs Door Sign

Has cupid found you yet? It's still January, but the most famous couple's day will be here soon! I made this gold and pink Kisses & Hugs Door Sign to start off my decorating for this fun, love-filled day! My colors for this project and others coming are pink and gold. I think they go beautifully together, don't you!

Anita's Acrylic Paint - Princess Pink

DecoArt Metallic Acrylic Paint - Venetian Gold
Gold medium tip paint marker from Tree House Studio paints
Valentine Crafts Wood Arrow Hanger
Gold 4mm Metallic Cord

I first added a coat of Anita's Acrylic Paint - White to the arrow so that I could have a good base and my other acrylic paints could be used sparingly. I have lots of plans for this paint for future Valentine projects in the coming weeks!

Add white acrylic paint as a base.

I used a pencil to draw a line to mark my border. I used a gold medium tip paint marker from Tree House Studio paints to outline the border. Then, filled in the border with gold xxx paint. 

Painted with gold paint.

I filled in the rest of the arrow with Anita's Acrylic Paint - Princess Pink and painted my letters with DecoArt Metallic Acrylic Paint - Venetian Gold.

Painted the letters with gold paint. 

I used a glue gun to attach my letters and replaced the twine hanger with Gold 4mm Metallic Cord.

Simple, but so precious! And, so me! I love sending Xs and Os!
